Racing Back To Chicago: Bobby Rahal Buys Lincoln Park Mansion

Now-retired race car driver Bobby Rahal is a native of suburban Glen Ellyn. The 57-year-old who won the 1986 Indianapolis 500 has lived in Columbus, Ohio, for most of the time since 1981, except for three years living in Chicago from 2005 to 2008.

Rahal and his wife are moving back to Chicago to stay, according to Chicago Breaking Business. They’re buying a 12-room, 6,600 square foot mansion in Lincoln Park for $3.295 million. This home includes:

Impressive. Enjoy your time here, Bobby; the article says both he and his wife have family here in Chicago. He intends to keep his Rahal Letterman Racing Team, co-owned with talk show host David Letterman, headquartered in Hilliard, Ohio, just outside Columbus.
