Your Sports TV Schedule, Monday 12/6

After a busy Sunday of pro football and college football selection shows, it’s a slower Monday. Take it easy. You deserve it. The Bulls are back in action tonight.

6 p.m., NBA-TV: Hawks at Magic.

6:30 p.m., Big Ten Network: Concordia (Mich.) at Michigan. This is what people mean when they complain that schools run up their record against “cupcake” teams (or “Little Sisters of the Poor”, according to Ohio State president Gordon Gee). Concordia (located, conveniently for the Wolverines, in Ann Arbor) is a NAIA Division 1 school that’s not all that good even in their own bracket — they’re 5-4 overall, 0-2 in their own league, charmingly called the “WHAC” (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference). On the other hand, Michigan nearly lost to Harvard over the weekend. I hope Concordia wins.

7 p.m., CSN Chicago: NBA, Bulls vs. Thunder at the United Center. The Bulls pulled out a thriller in OT on Saturday against a not-so-hot Rockets team. They’ll need to step up the effort against Kevin Durant and the Thunder.

7:30 p.m., ESPN: NFL, Jets at Patriots. Bears fans, here’s your chance to scout two of the next three Bears opponents. The Bears face the Patriots at Soldier Field next Sunday at 3:15 p.m. CST.
