Here is a complete listing of all the college football bowl games to be played concluding the 2010 season. Yes, there are now 35 games, beginning on Dec. 18, a week from next Saturday, with an ESPN tripleheader. Some of the sponsorships are almost comical, beginning with two of those three: the UDrove Humanitarian Bowl (do humanitarians really need to be driven anywhere?), the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, and continuing a couple of days later with the Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl St. Petersburg (there, "bowl" doesn't even get to have the last word).
The Big Ten will be well represented, with eight schools going -- as it only takes six wins to be "bowl eligible" with 70 teams needed. "Bowl eligible" doesn't actually mean "should be in a bowl", we should note.
