It’s the day you’ve been waiting for. Or, at least the day Cleveland basketball fans have been waiting for — the return of LeBron James, with the Heat, to Cleveland to play the Cavaliers. The Cavs’ record, with a mostly no-name team, is only 3.5 games worse than Miami’s. All Chicago-area teams are off today.
↵6:30 p.m., NHL Network: Sharks at Senators. In case you’re not in the mood for LeBron bashing.
↵7 p.m., TNT: NBA, Heat at Cavaliers. It will be fun to hear LeBron booed every time he touches the ball. And maybe at times he doesn’t.
↵7:20 p.m., NFL Network: Texans at Eagles. In this weird NFL year, the Texans started out 4-2, but have lost four of their last five — and stand one game out of first place. The Eagles and Giants are tied for first place. Wouldn’t it be fun if every team finished 8-8?
↵8 p.m., ESPN2: College basketball, UCLA at No. 4 Kansas. Hmmm. It used to be that UCLA was the ranked team hosting the wannabes. Now the Bruins are in the underdog position.
↵9:30 p.m., TNT: NBA, Suns at Warriors. A Western Conference matchup finishes off tonight’s NBA doubleheader.
