Your Sports TV Schedule, 12/14: Chicago's Day Off; Flyers/Penguins

We have had a busy few days in Chicago and national sports television, between the Bears/Patriots blowout and the Vikings and Giants moving their game to Monday night in a different city, Detroit. We still do not know at this writing where the Bears will face the Vikings -- indoors or outdoors -- but we do know that it will be on Monday night, Dec. 20 at 7:30 pm CST.

So today, take a breather. There's only a handful of games on television this Tuesday night -- all of our local teams have the day off.

6 p.m., Versus: NHL, Penguins at Flyers.

6 p.m., Big Ten Network: College basketball, North Carolina Central at Michigan. The Wolverines are 7-2 in their nonconference schedule so far. This includes beating up on an Ivy League school, a couple of local small colleges and some directional schools; tonight is another one of those. Don't expect this to be that easy, Michigan, when you face the rest of the Big Ten, about half of whom are ranked.

Yep, that's it. After these games are over, take the rest of the evening off and rest up for next weekend's pro football. The Bulls and Blackhawks are back in action Wednesday.
