College basketball takes center stage tonight with the Big Ten/ACC Challenge kicking off… no, wait, we still have college football on the brain. That’s tipping off tonight. The Deep Dish has the complete TV schedule, plus the Blackhawks returning home after the circus trip.
↵6 p.m., ESPN2: Big Ten/ACC Challenge, Georgia Tech at Northwestern. This is a good test for the 4-0 Wildcats.
↵6 p.m., ESPNU: Big Ten/ACC Challenge, Iowa at Wake Forest.
↵6 p.m., NBA-TV: Celtics at Cavaliers. A year ago, this might have been a contest. Tonight? Not so much.
↵6:30 p.m., ESPN: Big Ten/ACC Challenge, No. 2 Ohio State at Florida State.
↵7 p.m., Versus: NHL, Blackhawks vs. Blues at the United Center. No local TV for this game — if you don’t have Versus, you’re out of luck.
↵7 p.m., Comcast 100: AHL, Moose at Wolves. The Moose (don’t you hate singular team nicknames?) are from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
↵8 p.m., ESPN2: Big Ten/ACC Challenge, Michigan at Clemson.
↵8:30 p.m., ESPN: Big Ten/ACC Challenge, North Carolina at No. 21 Illinois. It still looks strange in a college basketball ranking to see Illinois ranked and North Carolina unranked.
↵9:30 p.m., CSN Chicago: NHL, Red Wings at Sharks. Don’t ask us why the local sports outlet is carrying an out-of-town game but not the Blackhawks. (Versus likely has exclusivity.)
