NFL Power Rankings, Week 11: Bears Move Up After Defeating Vikings

The new SBNation.com NFL Power Rankings for week 11 have been released and to no one's surprise, the New England Patriots have leaped to the top spot after their big win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, who dropped to eighth from fourth. Last week's No. 1 team, the Baltimore Ravens, fell all the way to No. 7 following their loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Meanwhile, the Bears' big win over the Vikings moved them up six spots from No. 18 to No. 12, just behind several other 6-3 teams, including the Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Giants.

The Packers, with whom the Bears are tied for first in the NFC North, rank second in the SBNation.com power rankings. That seems an appropriate divide -- ten places -- between a Bears team that has defeated only one really good team (Green Bay); the other five teams the Bears have defeated have a combined record of 9-35. For more on why Bears fans shouldn't get that excited just because they're 6-3, see this "A Cautionary Tale" feature on SBNation.com's front page.

The Bears have only two more days to prepare for their next game, Thursday night in Miami against the Dolphins.
