The Blackhawks visit Nashville tonight to see if they can get some of last year's playoff mojo back by visiting their first-round opponent. The Hawks lost to the Predators at the United Center exactly a month ago, on October 13, so they'll be looking for some revenge and also a win over a divisional opponent they currently lead by only two points.
The Hawks have scored only two goals in their last two games; the lack of offense has been a problem all season, but lately, goaltending has also been an issue. The 53 goals the Blackhawks have allowed is third-most in the Western Conference, although that may be a bit misleading because the Hawks have played the most games (18) of anyone in the West.
Dave Bolland's presence on the ice tonight, his first game since being activated from injured reserve, will be a welcome sight. They've missed the center's play and perhaps he can jump-start some scoring.
The game begins at 7 p.m. CST and will be televised on CSN Chicago.
