New Book On Stanley Cup Winning Chicago Blackhawks Season Goes On Sale Tuesday

Those who would already like to forget this year's Blackhawks team and remember last year's winners will have their chance starting Tuesday, Nov. 23. That's when One Goal Achieved: The Inside Story Of The 2010 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks goes on sale.

The book is a comprehensive and exclusive look back at last year's team. Moments that defined the season that ended in the Hawks winning the Stanley Cup are recounted in the book. A look is taken at not only the team, but front office personnel, the broadcasters and even the beat writers. It also includes a forward by Hawks President John McDonough, a preface by Hawks Chairman Rocky Wirtz and an afterword by Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley. Previously unreleased photos of the Stanley Cup's journey from Philadelphia back to Chicago, its tour with the players over the summer to their home towns, a Jimmy Buffett concert and more are also included.

But wait, there's more. A DVD of the celebration after the Cup was won in Philadelphia, the Stanley Cup parade and rally, and a footage of where some of the players took the Stanley Cup is also included.

But there's more! Included with the book and DVD are a replica ticket to Game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals at the United Center, a hardware booklet showcasing the team and individual honors that were collected in 2010 and a Jonathan Toews Scouting Report from the 2006 draft also are included. The book is available at including Borders, Barnes and Noble, Jewel, Dominicks, Meijer, the Blackhawks Stores at 325 N. Michigan Ave. and the United Center, and the Blackhawks Store Kiosk at Woodfield Mall, or by visiting the Chicago Blackhawks Website. In December several players and team ambassadors including Tony Esposito, Stan Mikita, Denis Savard, Brian Campbell and Dave Bolland will appear throughout Chicago to sign the book.
