Blackhawks Vs. Rangers: Brian Campbell Returns To The Ice

The Blackhawks invade Madison Square Garden Monday night to face the New York Rangers in the second game of a brief road trip. It'll be their only meeting with the Rangers this season.

They'll enter the game with the NHL's leading goal-scorer, Patrick Sharp, who has netted 10 goals in the season's first 13 games. Marty Turco is expected to start in goal again tonight; he had a rough game on Friday night at home against the Oilers, but made 25 saves in the Hawks' 3-1 win over the Minnesota Wild in St. Paul on Saturday night.

Earlier today the Hawks got good news when it was announced that defenseman Brian Campbell, who has been out since he sprained his knee on Oct. 1 during a preseason game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, would return and make his season debut tonight. Marian Hossa, who is out with an upper-body injury, may miss up to four weeks.

The Hawks got other good news today when the NHL announced that Duncan Keith has been named the league's third star of the week for his performance last week -- a goal and six assists.

Tonight's game will begin at 6 p.m. CDT and be televised on WGN (locally in Chicago) and on the NHL Network.
