Last Sunday when the Vikings played -- and lost to -- the Packers, Brett Favre was seen walking off the field limping with an ankle injury.
↵↵Despite that and his age, Favre started against the Patriots yesterday. During Minnesota's 28-18 loss to New England, Favre took several hard hits and got a deep cut on his chin, for which he received eight stitches.

↵↵Coach Brad Childress said Monday that Favre told him he was feeling fine after a hard hit to the chin knocked him out of the game against the Patriots. Favre played through two fractures in his left foot and produced one of his best games this season.↵↵
