On October 8, Atlanta Thrashers goaltender Ondrej Pavelec suffered a fainting spell, medically termed "a neurocardiogenic syncope episode", when he collapsed on the ice during the Thrashers' home opener.
↵↵Pavelec suffered a concussion when his head hit the ice and now, he is ready for a one-game rehab assignment with the Thrashers' AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves, when they take on the Oklahoma City Barons at the Allstate Arena Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
↵↵Thrashers coach Craig Ramsay says Pavelec will definitely start for the Thrashers when they face the Blues in St. Louis on Saturday.
