Notre Dame vs. Pitt score update: Ray Graham gives Panthers 10-6 halftime lead

A 16-yard touchdown run by Ray Graham with 4:42 remaining in the second quarter gave the Pitt Panthers a 10-6 halftime lead over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Saturday.

Graham also set up Pitt's previous score. He had a 55-yard run in the first quarter that put the Panthers in range for Kevin Harper to hit a 39-yard field goal.

Kyle Brindza capped off a 14-play opening drive for Notre Dame with a 37-yard field goal to give the Irish a 3-0 lead in the first before Harper answered with his field goal on the next drive. Brindza also connected from 20 yards in the second quarter to give Notre Dame a 6-3 lead before Graham's touchdown.

Pitt quarterback Tino Sunseri is 10 for 12 passing for 84 yards. Graham has six carries for 76 yards.

Notre Dame quarterback Everett Golson is 9 for 15 passing for 88 yards. Running back Theo Riddick has 13 carries for 48 yards and Cierre Wood has six carries for 35 yards. Tyler Eifert has three catches for 32 yards. Tommy Rees relieved Everett Golson late in the half after Golson's helmet was knocked off.

Notre Dame has the ball and has a first down at the Pitt 32 as the second quarter is about to get under way.
