Notre Dame vs. Boston College final score: Irish throttle Eagles, 21-6

Notre Dame improved to 10-0 after a road win over Boston College on Saturday.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish improved to 10-0 on the season after defeating Boston College Eagles, 21-6, on Saturday.

Irish quarterback Everett Golson had three touchdowns for an Irish offense that accumulated 394 total yards.

Manti Te`o recorded his sixth interception of the season when he picked-off Chase Rettig in the fourth quarter. Te`o led the Irish defense that held the Eagles to just two field goals and 57 yards rushing on 22 carries in the game.

Notre Dame led the entire game and held the ball for over 32 minutes.

The Irish will try to remain undefeated next week when they host Wake Forest.

Box Score Hero: Everett Golson was 16-of-24 passing for 200 yards and two touchdowns in the air. Golson also rushed 10 times for 39 yards and one touchdown on the ground.

Rankings Ramifications: Notre Dame entered the game ranked fourth in the BCS standings and will likely move up this week after No. 1 Alabama suffered its first loss of the season.

But Did They Cover? Notre Dame was favored by 20 points and did not cover the spread.

Next Week's Schedule: Notre Dame plays Wake Forest at home, while Boston College hosts Virginia Tech.
