Two top-25 teams will take the field in South Bend, Ind., when No. 17 Stanford visits No. 7 Notre Dame at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday on NBC.
Notre Dame is coming off a dominant 41-3 victory over Miami last week and is favored by 7 points at home over Stanford.
Stanford needed overtime to beat Arizona at home, 54-48, last week and suffered its only loss of the season on the road against Washington, 17-13, on Sept. 27. At 4-1 on the season and 2-1 in the conference, Stanford is currently in third place in the Pac 12 North Division behind undefeated Oregon and Oregon State.
Notre Dame has started the season 5-0 including victories over then-ranked Michigan State and Michigan. Stanford is the third ranked team on Notre Dame's schedule. The Fighting Irish will also travel to to take on No. 13 Oklahoma and No. 11 USC later this season.
Stanford defeated Notre Dame last year, 28-14, in Palo Alto, Calif.
