Kyle Davis, a point guard out of Morgan Park High School in Chicago, has committed to play basketball for Archie Miller and the Dayton Flyers, according to Mike Helfgot of the Chicago News-Tribune.
The 6'2, 165-pound Davis also reportedly held offers from in-state schools Northwestern, Illinois State, Illinois-Chicago, and Chicago State, in addition to programs in the Big East and SEC. He is listed as a four-star recruit on Scout.com and ranked as the 21st shooting guard in the country. Rivals also has him as a four-star recruit and ranked 105th overall among all positions. ESPN does not rate Davis as highly, giving him a grade of 67 and a ranking of 63rd at his position.
The Dayton Flyers play in the Atlantic 10 conference and finished 20-13 a season ago. They have made 14 NCAA Tournament appearances, with the most recent coming in 2009.
