Northwestern hopes to stay atop the Big Ten Legends division when they travel to Penn State on Saturday.

The No. 24 Northwestern Wildcats (5-0, 1-0) look to keep rolling when they travel to Happy Valley to take on the Penn State Nittany Lions (3-2, 1-0). The Wildcats opened Big Ten play with a big win over Indiana last week, and share the lead in the Big Ten Legends division.

Northwestern set a school record with 704 yards of total offense against Indiana in their 44-29 victory and look like a force to be reckoned with this season. QB Kain Colter ran for four TDs and 161 yards against the Hoosiers, while RB Venric Mark added 138 yards on the ground. QB Trevor Siemian added 308 yards in the air, but the ground game is clearly the specialty of the Wildcats. They rank ninth in the nation at 255.8 yards rushing per game.

Penn State also won their Big Ten opener, easily defeating Illinois 35-7 and appear to be on the right track after a tough start to the season. The Nittany Lions dropped their opener to Ohio and then fell to Virginia before rattling off three straight wins behind the strength of their defense. Penn State ranks 14th in the nation in scoring defense, allowing only 13.6 points per game and will offer Northwestern their stiffest test yet this season. Last year the Wildcats fell to PSU 34-24.

Game Date and Time: Saturday, Oct. 6 at 11:00 a.m. CT

Location: Beaver Stadium, University Park, PA

TV: ESPN
