Once again, our local pro teams all have the day off. But there's plenty of sports action on TV tonight, from the NFL to the NBA.

7 p.m., Big Ten Network: College basketball, American at Northwestern.

7 p.m., TNT: NBA, Hawks at Celtics. There's an NBA team that is 20-4 and has won 11 in a row. Those guys who went to South Beach must have ... oh, wait. That team is the Celtics, not the Heat. (Although the Heat is currently riding a 10-game winning streak.)

↵↵

7 p.m., CSN Chicago: NHL, CSN Classic: Chicago Blackhawks at Vancouver Canucks: 1995 Western Conference Semifinals Game Four from May 27, 1995; Chris Chelios scored the game-winner in overtime; he will be honored at the United Center tomorrow for his great career.

↵↵

7 p.m., NFL Network: 49ers at Chargers. The Chargers are 7-6; the 49ers 5-8. Yet both of these teams are only one game out of first place in their respective divisions. That's right -- 5-8 gets you in playoff contention in the awful NFC West, where all four teams have losing records.

9:30 p.m., TNT: NBA, Spurs at Nuggets.
