Torii Hunter Jr. committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Sunday during an official visit.

Four-star wide receiver Torii Hunter Jr. committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Sunday, choosing Brian Kelly's team during an official visit this weekend, according to Rivals.com.

It was Hunter Jr.'s second visit to Notre Dame, he told IrishIllustrated.com:

"As far as education and the academic side of it, I've got a good idea about that. I just really want to see the game day atmosphere and everything the second time around."

Out of Prosper, Texas, Hunter is listed by Rivals as the 246th best prospect in the country for the class of 2013. The son of Los Angeles Angels outfielder Torii Hunter is a 6'0, 175 pounder who is ranked by ESPN as the 50th best prospect in his class.

He is the 21st commitment for the Irish and the third wide receiver in that group. Hunter Jr. chose the Irish over Nebraska, Arizona State and Utah, who all had set aside time for Hunter to visit.

In his junior year, Hunter had 43 catches for 749 yards and 11 touchdowns.
