With the date against the Miami Hurricanes set for Oct. 6 at Soldier Field, Notre Dame football revealed its official jerseys on Thursday for the showcase game.
Adding yet another chapter to an overwhelming crop of alternate jerseys in college football, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish revealed their brand new official Adidas jerseys for an upcoming Oct. 6 date with the Miami Hurricanes at Soldier Field.
SB Nation's Irish blog One Foot Down has a full breakdown, but the verdict still remains out on whether the two-part helmet (ESPN's Darren Rovell posted the logo side on Twitter) was a good idea in the end.
Like them or not, there's no denying the value of drumming up media interest in a football program with a completely new jersey layout like this.
