The Illini will try to recover from their Big Ten opening loss when they travel to Wisconsin to take on the Badgers.

The Illinois Fighting Illini (2-3) look to snap their two game losing streak when they hit the road to take the Wisconsin Badgers (3-2) this week. Both teams opened up their Big Ten season with a loss last week and need a win to get back in the hunt in the Big Ten Leaders division.

Illinois struggled last week, losing to Penn State 35-7 in Champaign and have now lost two straight. Prior to losing to the Nittany Lions, the Illini fell to Louisiana Tech; Illinois also lost its only road game of the season thus far, getting blown out by Arizona State on Sept. 8. Things likely won't get any easier for the Illini in Madison.

Wisconsin lost a heart breaker in Nebraska last week, falling 30-27 after taking a 27-10 lead early in the third quarter. Badgers RB Montee Ball, contributed three TDs and 90 yards, but needed 32 carries to do so and coughed the ball up on the Badgers last drive of the game. Wisconsin will look to Ball early and often to get their offense moving as last season he rushed for 224 yards against Illinois in a 28-17 Badgers win.

Game Date and Time: Saturday, Oct. 6 at 2:30 p.m. CT

Location: Camp Randall Stadium, Madison, WI
