Illinois Vs. Maryland Score Update: Terps Lead 35-31 At Halftime

The Big Ten-ACC Challenge got underway on Tuesday night with the Big Ten looking to defend last year's title. Illinois is trying to do its part in College Park, but the Maryland Terrapins held a slim 35-31 lead at the half.

Unofficially, Brandon Paul is leading the way for Illinois with 13 points on 4-9 shooting as the second half gets underway. The Terrapins were a bit better from the field than the Illini in the opening half and took better care of the basketball, and Illinois will probably have to turn those things around in order to earn a tough win on the road.
