The Notre Dame Fighting Irish survived a close call last night in the quarterfinals of the Big East Tournament, surviving against South Florida 57-53 in overtime. Next up for the Irish is a date with Louisville, who upset No. 9 Marquette -- a team many picked to win the conference tournament -- yesterday at Madison Square Garden.

The Irish have met Louisville just once this season, and it was an instant classic. On Jan. 7, Notre Dame defeated the Cardinals 67-65 in two overtimes.
