NCAA Women's Tournament Bracket 2012: Notre Dame Advances To Final Four, Will Face Connecticut

The No. 1 seeded Notre Dame Fighting Irish advanced to the Women's Final Four in Denver, Colo. with a 31-point victory over the second seeded Maryland Terrapins, but they won't be alone. All four top seeds in this year's bracket are making their way to Denver, setting up some titanic match ups when the Final Four gets underway on Sunday, April 1.

The Irish will face the Connecticut Huskies, the top seed in the East Region that advanced to Denver with an 80-65 victory over the Kentucky Wildcats. This year's Huskies aren't on par with some of the untouchable teams that Geno Auriemma has fielded in the past, but at 33-4 on the season, they're obviously more than capable of taking home yet another title.

Here is the bracket heading into the Final Four:

(1) Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. (1) Connecticut Huskies

(1) Stanford Cardinal vs. (1) Baylor Bears
