No. 7 DePaul Vs. No. 2 Tennessee Final Score: DePaul Women Fall To Lady Vols In NCAA Tournament

The DePaul Blue Demons' women's basketball team saw its season end tonight at the hands of long-time powerhouse Tennessee. The No. 2 Lady Vols knocked off the Blue Demons 63-48 in the Round of 32 at the NCAA Tournament. Tennessee advances to play the winner of No. 11 Kansas vs. No. 3 Delaware in the Sweet 16. The win improves the Lady Vols to 26-8, while DePaul's season will end at 23-11.

Shekinna Stricklen and Vicki Baugh led the way for Tennessee. Stricklen had a team-high 17 points on 6-of-13 shooting in the win, to go along with nine rebounds and four assists. Baugh shot 8-of-11 from the field to finish with 16 points. Glory Johnson grabbed 21 rebounds in the win for Tennessee.

DePaul was led by Anna Martin, who scored 20 on 9-of-18 shooting. Deanna Ortiz added nine points for the Blue Demons in the loss.

DePaul shot just 20-of-64 (31.3 percent) from the field.
