2012 Women's NCAA Tournament Bracket And Schedule: DePaul Advances, Notre Dame Takes The Floor

The seventh seeded DePaul Blue Demons held off a furious BYU Cougars rally to hold onto a 59-55 victory and advance to the second round of the Women's NCAA Tournament. That's the good news for DePaul, but here's the bad: they'll face the Tennessee Volunteers in the second round. With a No. 2 seed, this year's Volunteers aren't quite up to that program's historic highs, but Tennessee is still Tennessee. The two will clash on Monday, March 19, at 8:40 p.m. CT.

Meanwhile, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish— who defeated the Blue Devils in the Women's Big East Tournament en route to a No. 1 seed in the Big Dance— will open their 2012 tournament today agains the Liberty Flames in South Bend. Here's schedule and broadcast info for that match up:

Game info: (1) Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. (16) Liberty Flames

Game date/time: Sunday, March 18, 1:30 p.m. CT

Location: Joyce Center, South Bend, Ind.

TV: ESPN2/ESPN3
