The White Sox take a four-game winning streak and three-game division lead into a new series against Kansas City on Tuesday night.
The Chicago White Sox have won four games in a row and opened up a three-game lead in the American League Central, and they'll begin a three-game series against the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday evening.
White Sox starter Gavin Floyd will start Tuesday night, his second start since coming off the disabled list from a right elbow flexor strain. Floyd has a 4.59 ERA in 143 innings this season across 25 starts.
He returned from the disabled list Wednesday in a start against the Detroit Tigers; he threw 4 2/3 innings of three-run, four-hit ball in what was eventually a 8-6 Tigers' win.
The Royals will send Luke Hochevar to the mound for his 30th start of the season. Hochevar has thrown 166.1 innings this season and has a 5.46 ERA. His next strikeout will be his 129th of the season and would be a career high for the first overall pick in the 2006 MLB amateur draft.
