Royals Vs. White Sox Final Score: Chris Sale Leads Chicago To Victory

So much for Chris Sale's dead arm. The Chicago White Sox's 23-year old left-hander returned to the mound in a big way on Monday night, powering the South Siders to a 4-2 victory over the Kansas City Royals in the series opener of a three-game at U.S. Cellular Field. The Sox move to 60-48 with the win, while Kansas City falls to 45-63.

Gordon Beckham delivered the biggest blow of the game. With the game tied 2-2 in the eight inning, Beckham ripped a home run to left, his 10th of the season. Paul Konerko added a homer an inning earlier to tie the game. The homer was Konerko's 18th of the season.

Sale added to his Cy Young resume by improving to 13-3 on the season. Sale allowed eight hits and two earned runs over eight innings while striking out seven and walking none.
