Chicago White Sox CF Alejandro De Aza has been on the disabled list since Aug. 18 with a bruised ribcage, but he's expected to return to the team over the weekend. De Aza has been rehabbing from his injury in Charlotte with Chicago's Triple-A team.
De Aza likely back from Charlotte rehab stint Saturday or Sunday.

In De Aza's absence, center field for the White Sox has mostly been manned by DeWayne Wise. In 62 plate appearances for Chicago, Wise has batted .295/.306/.459 with three homers and three steals. In 111 games this season, De Aza has batted .281/.346/.398 with 21 steals, 24 doubles and six homers.
There has been no indication who the White Sox will demote when De Aza is ready, but Wise figures to remain with the club.
