#WhiteSox put Septimo and Hudson on the DL, reactivate Konerko and call up Santiago.
Paul Konerko had been on the 7-day DL since Aug. 10 after suffering a concussion on Aug. 7 against the Royals. Room was made for Konerko by placing Orlando Hudson and Leyson Septimo on the 15-day DL.
Hudson's DL stint is retroactive to Aug. 16 with a contusion in the first metatarsal joint in his left foot. Septimo has been diagnosed with bicep inflammation in his throwing shoulder (left) and his stint is retroactive to Aug. 14.
The team also called up Hector Santiago from Triple-A Charlotte.
