Chris Sale Injury Update: White Sox Pitcher Uncertain Of Next Start

Stay connected for news and updates

Chicago White Sox lefty and 23-year-old SP Chris Sale is in rotation limbo as he deals with fatigue heading into the final third of the season, reports ESPN Chicago:

"I'd say it's probably fatigue and he's just tired," Ventura said. "There's no pain or anything in there. We'll see how it sits in Minnesota and how he feels. Nothing's changed in how we treat him, we're just trying to take care of him."

Sale, who has a 2.61 ERA and 2.81 FIP through 19 games, has made 18 starts for the White Sox in the 2012 MLB season. He started Friday against the Texas Rangers and pitched 6 and 1/3 innings while striking out six, walking two, and allowing five earned runs.
