Rangers Vs. White Sox Score Update: South Siders Lead Texas 7-0 In 5th Inning

Stay connected for news and updates

The Texas Rangers have the best offense in the majors, but it's the Chicago White Sox who are throwing runs up on the board at an accelerated rate on Tuesday night at U.S. Cellular Field. The Sox lead 7-0 in the bottom of the fifth, a quick start spurred by three first inning homers from the South Siders.

After a single by Alejandro De Aza to start the bottom of the first, Kevin Youkilis went yard to put Chicago up 2-0. Adam Dunn would follow with his 25 homer of the year. After Paul Konerko flew out to the warning track, Alex Rios belted his 11th dinger of the season.

Youkilis, Dunn and Konerko each drove in one run in the second running to push the lead to where it currently stands.

Chris Sale is dealing, allowing only two hits while striking out four.
