White Sox Roster Update: Jesse Crain Set To Return

Prior to a shoulder strain in mid-June, Jesse Crain was having a tremendous season coming out of the bullpen for the Chicago White Sox. Crain, who hasn't pitched since June 16, will make his return to the team according to Adam Hoge of CBSSports:

: Jesse Crain is back. Brian Omogrosso optioned to Charlotte.

Crain has appeared in 24 games this season and has a 2.38 ERA in 22.2 innings pitched. Crain has thrown two simulated games since the injury and appears ready to return to the bullpen. Omogrosso has made five appearances this season for Chicago, allowing three earned runs in 6.1 innings pitched. In his last three appearances, he pitched 2.1 innings of scoreless baseball.
