White Sox Vs. Twins Preview: South Siders Hit The Road

The White Sox begin a seven-game road trip on Monday.

The White Sox won their first series in weeks when they took two of three from Milwaukee over the weekend, and they also re-claimed a tenuous hold on first place in the AL Central. They'll begin a three-game series in Minnesota against the Twins on Monday night.

While the Sox have been competitive this season, the Twins have struggled in a bunch of areas en route to a 29-42 overall record -- they're 10th in the AL in OPS, 12th in runs scored, 14th in ERA and 14th in runs allowed.

Jake Peavy (6-3, 2.74 ERA) will be on the mound for Chicago, while Francisco Liriano (1-7, 5.74) is scheduled to get the ball for the Twins.
