The Chicago White Sox have been on fire lately, and even Seattle Mariners ace Felix Hernandez could not stop their winning streak on Friday night. The Sox launched three home runs -- two from Gordon Beckham and one from Adam Dunn -- to chase King Felix from the game, and then the bats saved the bullpen from a painful collapse by tacking on three runs to seal a 7-4 win. Chicago has now won nine consecutive games, and they have a chance to extend the winning streak to 10 games on Saturday afternoon.
Gavin Floyd (4-5, 5.02 ERA) is on the mound for the Sox, in opposition to Mariners starter Hector Noesi (2-6, 5.01 ERA). The last time Chicago faced Noesi (April 20 of this year), they blasted him for six runs on six hits and two walks over just 1.1 innings.
Here is the game time and broadcast information for Saturday's game:
Game date/time: Saturday, June 2, 3:10 p.m. CT
