It wasn't long ago that the Chicago White Sox were the hottest team in baseball, riding a nine-game winning streak. After a loss on Wednesday to the St. Louis Cardinals, the Sox have now alternated wins and losses in their last seven games. In the series rubber match at Busch Stadium on Thursday, Gavin Floyd takes the mound for the South Siders against Jake Westbrook and the Cards.
Floyd hasn't been able to find his groove all season. The 29-year old right-hander enters 4-6 with a 5.38 ERA and 1.26 WHIP.
The 34-year old Westbrook is also 4-6, boasting a 4.25 ERA and 1.44 WHIP.
Game Date & Time: Thursday, June 14, 7:15 p.m. CT
Location: Busch Stadium
TV: CSN
