White Sox Have Most Hated Player, Biggest Talker, Best Groupies According To Survey

Thanks to their black-and-white color scheme, inherently cool logo and rough-and-tumble South Side location, the Chicago White Sox have some sort of claim to throne of baseball's biggest tough guys. I mean, do you see rappers wearing any other team's cap?

A recent survey in Men's Journal may only further the reputation. Survey says: the White Sox boast the most hated player in baseball, the game's biggest trash talker, and asserts Chicago has the best groupies. The same survey also names former manager Ozzie Guillen the least-respected coach in the MLB. Yay?

As if there was any wonder, catcher A.J. Pierzynski was named the game's most hated player, garnering 34 percent of the vote. New York Yankees Alex Rodriguez and Nick Swisher finished second and third respectively.

Biggest trash talker? Turns out that Minnesota baseball writer wasn't lying. Recently signed infielder Orlando Hudson tops the list, edging out Nyjer Morgan of the Milwaukee Brewers and Chris Carpenter of the St. Louis Cardinals.

And, oh yes, Chicago was voted as having baseball's best groupies. Good job, team.
