After losing six of seven games coming into Tuesday night, the Chicago White Sox have now secured back-to-back victories. On Wednesday night at Progressive Field, the South Siders used to six-run fourth inning to power to a 8-1 win over the division-leading Cleveland Indians. The victory pushes Chicago to 15-17 on the season, while the Indians fall to 17-13.

Starter Jake Peavy was again masterful for Chicago. Peavy, who exited the game with a 1.89 ERA on the season, pitched seven innings for Chicago, giving up just one earned run while striking out five. The win improves Peavy's record to 4-1 on the season.

The lone home run of the game came in the first inning off the bat of Adam Dunn. Dunn's two-run blast was his team-best 10th of the season. Shortstop Alexei Ramirez was the other star for Chicago. Ramirez finished the day 3-for-4 with a run and one RBI.
