White Sox Vs. Indians Final Score: Chicago Wins In 10 Innings

The Chicago White Sox took a 3-0 lead into the eighth inning on Tuesday night against the Cleveland Indians, but a three-run eighth for the Tribe sent the game to extra innings. In the 10th, Alex Rios tripled to drive in a run and shortstop Alexei Ramirez grounded out to drive in Rios as the White Sox earned a 5-3 victory in Cleveland. The victory was much needed for Chicago, who entered as losers of six of their last seven.

Starter John Danks was brilliant for the Sox, going seven innings and allowing just five hits and two runs. Converted starter Chris Sale blew the save for Chicago. Addison Reed would nail down the save in the 10th.

Rios had three hits on the night for Chicago. Paul Konerko and center fielder Alejandro De Aza each added two its in the win.

The victory improves the Sox to 14-17. Cleveland falls to 17-12.
