The White Sox open a three-game series with the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday.

The Chicago White Sox have won nine of their last 10 games, and just completed a three-game sweep of the A.L. Central-leading Cleveland Indians this weekend at U.S. Cellular Field. With Chicago's offense on fire and the deficit in the division reduced to a half-game, the White Sox open a three-game road series against one of the American League's premier teams: the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Rays have a share of the lead in the A.L. East and enter the series with Chicago at 29-19. On Monday, the White Sox will send young lefty Chris Sale to the mound against Tampa's highly-touted 22-year old lefty Matt Moore.

Moore is regarded as one of the best young arms in baseball, topping many prospect rankings heading into this season. He hasn't been great to start 2012, though. Moore enters at 1-4 with a 5.07 ERA and 1.57 WHIP.

The 23-year old Sale was been dominant for Chicago. Sale is 5-2 this season with a 2.50 ERA and 1.05 WHIP.

Game date/time: Monday, May 28, 2:10 p.m. CT

Location: Tropicana Field, Tampa Bay, FL.

TV: CSN
