Stay connected for news and updates

The Chicago Cubs may have another player headed to their ever-growing disabled list. In the top of the eighth inning of Saturday night's game, RP Blake Parker struck out UTIL Brent Lillibridge but then fell down 3-0 to CF Alejandro De Aza, prompting a visit from the training staff.

Unfortunately for Parker and for the Cubs, he could not finish the at bat:

The Cubs currently have three players on the disabled list, including two catchers. Parker was making his second career appearance.
