While Sale didn't have too much trouble -- a solo home run by Albert Pujols was the extent of LA's offense -- Angels starter C.J. Wilson was not so fortunate. Wilson had control issues early and ended up walking six batters in fewer than four innings.

Adam Dunn, Paul Konerko, Alex Rios, A.J. Pierzynski and Alexei Ramirez each had multi-hit days for the Sox. Dunn and Pierzynski drove in two runs apiece.
