Royals Vs. White Sox Final Score: Chicago Lineup Held To 3 Singles In 5-0 Loss

The Chicago White Sox (16-18) could not overcome SP Luke Hochevar as the Kansas City Royals (12-20) beat the White Sox 5-0.

SP Chris Sale (L, 3-2) struggled in the first inning, but settled down to finish 5.0 solid innings with 3 strike outs after walking the first 2 batters. Meanwhile, Hochevar (W, 3-3) limited the Sox to one C A.J. Pierzynski walk and three singles -- off the bats of 1B Paul Konerko, RF Alex Rios and 3B Brent Morel.

Morel and Pierzynski were the only two batters to reach base twice as Morel singled and walked, and Pierzynski walked twice.

The White Sox conclude their series against the Royals on Sunday against 1:10 p.m. CDT.
