White Sox Vs. Indians Final Score: Chicago Down Cleveland 4-2

The first start of the season for high-upside lefty Chris Sale was certainly encouraging. Sale mowed down the Cleveland Indians offensive all night long on Monday to power the Chicago White Sox to a 4-2 victory at Jacobs Field. The win improves Chicago to 2-2, while Cleveland falls to 1-3.

Sale pitched 6.2 innings, allowing three hits, one earned run and two walks while striking out five. He was pulled after exactly 100 pitches, 60 of them for strikes.

The offense supported Sale from the start. Alejandro De Aza homered to lead-off the game. A.J. Pierzynski also hit a two-run homer in the first inning. The Sox would score for the final tie when Brent Morel singled to right to score De Aza in the fifth.

Paul Konerko, Dayan Viciedo, Alexei Ramirez and De Aza each finished with two hits.
