White Sox Vs. Indians: Chris Sale Pitching Well In 1st Major League Start

Stay connected for news and updates

Chris Sale joined the White Sox rotation for 2012 after working in the bullpen during the 2011 season, and he made his first ever major league start on Monday night against the Cleveland Indians. Chicago picked up three runs in the top of the first inning -- Alejandro De Aza led off with a solo shot and A.J. Pierzynski later hit a two-run bomb -- which gave Sale a bit of a cushion before he'd even taken the mound.
