Philip Humber Perfect Game: Chicago Pitcher Mows Down Seattle Mariners

Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Philip Humber threw a perfect game on Saturday versus the Seattle Mariners during a 4-0 White Sox win. Humber finished with nine strikeouts. The 29-year old righty threw the perfect game in just 97 pitches. Humber struck out Mariners shortstop Brendan Ryan on a controversial play to end the game.

Humber reached a 3-0 count on Michael Saunders to start the ninth inning but worked his way into a strikeout.
