White Sox Vs. Indians Score Update: Home Runs Expand Chicago's Lead To 10-4

The Chicago White Sox are leading 10-4 over the Cleveland Indians in the bottom of the sixth inning thanks to a strong effort from the team's offense thus far. White Sox starter John Danks hasn't pitched very well on Wednesday, but the lineup has come through to give Chicago a lead anyways.

After jumping out to a 4-1 lead after the first inning, the Indians managed to trim Chicago's advantage to 5-4 by the end of the fifth inning. But a pair of home runs by Alejandro De Aza and A.J. Pierzynski in the sixth inning gave Chicago another five runs, expanding its lead to 10-4.

Following a one-out double by Gordon Beckham in the sixth, De Aza smacked a two-run homer to put Chicago up 7-4. A few batters later, the Indians intentionally walked Paul Konerko to bring up Pierzynski with two guys on base and two outs. Pierzynski made Cleveland pay by sending Rafael Perez's pitch into the stands.

At this point, it's unclear if Danks will return for the sixth inning. He's up to 89 pitches already after giving up four runs on six hits and four walks, so the bullpen may get a workout.
