2012 White Sox Spring Training, Cactus League Standings: Chicago In 13th Place

The Chicago White Sox entered the spring trying to prove that they could compete in the American League Central after a disappointing 2011 season that saw several key hitters slump badly. But so far, they've had a rough time in Cactus League play, compiling just a 5-10 record. Spring training records aren't necessarily indicative of what's going to happen in the regular season, of course, but for a team looking for encouragement, these struggles don't help.

The 2012 Cactus League standings as of Monday morning:

Cactus League
Team W L Pct
Oakland 13 4 .765
San Francisco 11 5 .688
Los Angeles 8 4 .667
Seattle 11 6 .647
Los Angeles 9 6 .600
Kansas City 9 7 .562
Colorado 8 7 .533
San Diego 9 8 .529
Arizona 7 10 .412
Cincinnati 7 10 .412
Milwaukee 6 9 .400
Chicago 7 11 .389
Chicago 5 10 .333
Cleveland 4 10 .286
Texas 4 11 .267

The White Sox are back in action Monday with a game against Cincinnati.
