The Chicago White Sox' spring struggles continued on Monday, as they lost 9-4 to the Oakland Athletics. Starting pitcher Jake Peavy struggled in his brief appearance, allowing six runs on eight hits in 2.3 innings of work. He also walked a pair of batters.

The A's were up 7-0 before the White Sox finally put together a bit of a rally with a four-run fifth inning, but that was as close as they'd get.
Alexei Ramirez, Alejandro De Aza, Trayce Thompson and Alex Rios had multi-hit afternoons for the Sox.
Chicago returns to action against San Diego on Tuesday.
