After losing two straight to the New York Yankees, the White Sox will hope that Gavin Floyd can help them salvage at least part of their four game set at the Cell.

Floyd, 9-9 with a 3.96 ERA and 1.17 WHIP, has been on a roll of good starts lately. In his last start against Boston, he got the win after giving up just one run on three hits over 7.0 innings pitched. In his last game against the Yankees this season, he pitched eight innings, giving up two runs on four hits and one walk, while striking out ten. This year, Derek Jeter is 2-for-3 against Floyd, while Robinson Cano is 1-for-3 with a home run.

A.J. Burnett, 8-9 with a 4.23 ERA and 1.29 WHIP, will start for the Yankees. He's coming off a start against Baltimore in which he took the loss after giving up four runs on five hits over eight innings while striking out ten. In his last start against the White Sox, Burnett pitched eight innings, giving up one run on three hits and two walks while striking out just two. Over this season, Carlos Quentin is 1-for-3 against Burnett with a double.

The weather in Chicago is forecast to be warm and clear, with a game time temperature in the low 80's. First pitch is at 7:10 P.M., CDT, and the game will be televised on CSN, ESPN, and YES.
